Manning's Magnolia Mercantile is a faith-based marketplace, and we're looking for local makers, artists, curators, and small businesses whose handmade, handcrafted, or artisan-style products share our hometown charm and values.
-
The first step is completing an Intent Form. From there, we look at the quality, uniqueness, and craftsmanship of products, how well the business fits the feel of the mercantile, and how much space we have available.
-
In addition to rent, we take a 15% commission on your monthly sales. That commission helps cover things like advertising, credit card processing, and our point-of-sale system—the behind-the-scenes costs of running the store. Each month, we'll deduct rent and commission from your sales and send you a check for the rest
Booth rates range from $75-$250/month, depending on the space needed. -
No, but please spend as much time as you’d like getting to know our customers, especially when Opelika is hosting an event on the tracks!
-
Our mission is all about showcasing locally owned businesses and handcrafted, independently designed products—so we're not able to accept direct sales or multi-level marketing (MLM) businesses. In other words, if you're selling on behalf of a national direct sales company rather than your own personally owned brand, it wouldn't be the right fit for our mercantile.
